TV Dubbing Mix
A TV dubbing mix, also known as a re-recording mix, is the final creative and technical stage of audio post-production. It is where all the individual sound elements of a production—production dialogue, ADR, ambience, backgrounds, music, Foley, sound effects and sound design—are brought together and carefully shaped into a single, cohesive soundtrack for television or film. A professionally mixed programme should ideally go unnoticed by the audience allowing them to concentrate and enjoy the experience in full.
Sound Design
Sound Design is the invisible storytelling layer that controls what the audience hears, feels, and believes about the world they are seeing or hearing. It exists alongside the image, but it can completely transform how that image is interpreted. Rather than simply capturing what happens naturally on set, sound design is a deliberate creative process: selecting, shaping, manipulating, layering, and sometimes creating sound from scratch to support the story.
Radio & Podcast Mixing
Radio and podcast Mixing is the process of combining and balancing different audio elements—such as voices, music, sound effects, interviews, and background sounds—to create a clear, engaging, and professional-sounding programme that the listener will enjoy and want to hear again and again. These programmes can be as simple as a 2 person conversation in a studio right up to a fully immersive Dolby Atmos mix.
Dolby Atmos
Dolby Atmos is an industry-standard immersive audio format widely used across television, film, and increasingly podcasts. Unlike traditional stereo or surround sound, Dolby Atmos allows audio to be positioned and moved within a three-dimensional sound field, creating a greater sense of depth, height, and spatial realism. This process grabs the audience’s attention more powerfully than just stereo or traditional surround sound.

Kind Words from our Clients
BBC Studios
Rich is creative and reliable and we’ve enjoyed working with him on numerous programmes over the years. He’s been indispensable on fast turnaround edits for topical Radio 4 shows as well as being highly skilled and imaginative in leading the sound design on several sketch and narrative projects. I highly recommend him and his studio!
Lead Mojo
I’ve worked with Rich for over fifteen years for a reason – he’s a brilliant collaborator, not only in terms of making sure you get the sound design just right, but also in terms of the content.
Dash Pictures
Rich has been a brilliant collaborator across a huge range of our productions. From unscripted television to our scripted features, his sound design and mixing consistently elevate the work.
His dialogue work deserves particular praise: quite simply, he makes dialogue sound better than anyone we’ve ever worked with.
